I base my artwork on memories of places and experiences that is reinterpreted and reinvented through colour. The abstraction brings forth the essence and express spesific moods and emotions of the experience, elevating the subject from place to atmosphere, making my compositions vibrate with character as it comes to life. I create my artworks in soft pastel that allows for exceptional degrees of intensity and fluidity and opens up for lyrical interpretations.

This artwork is made with Unison Colour soft pastels on 300 g Arches cold pressed paper and has a fine layer of Sennelier fixative as finishing a coat. It has a delicate surface and needs the protection of glass. It ships flat in a box.
