Organic forms and colours inspired by the warm earth and dying leaves, babbling brooks and whispering plants. The shape of plants in all its life stages is a study in metamorphosis and a perpetual source of inspiration.

This story is told by dry pigments rubbed into cotton paper until its filled with colour that brings the surface to life.

Kristin use handmade soft pastels on 300 g cotton paper and finish it off with a thin layer of fixative. The surface is delicate and silky matte and needs the protection of glass. It ship flat packed in a box.

Creating an abstract landscape on paper is much like telling a story through steep cliffs and rushing water. The tale of majestic mountains and friendly slopes are told by dry pigments rubber into the cotton paper until the whole surface is filled with colourful pigments that‘s creating images of recognisable shapes and places remembered.
