This is Dawning from my Nightfall series. It's early morning and the first light is slowly growing in the East, in the West its still dark night. The delicate tones of the first light of day are enveloped by darkness, the contrast is beautiful and inspired this artwork. The horizon and a speck of land is revealed as the dawn is unfolding but the night is still dominating.
When you are privileged to a wide view this display is awesome to behold and makes the early start rewarding.
