Beyond the Sea

Inspired by the Ocean and it’s never ending waves. I live on a Penninsula with the North Sea at one side and the fjords on the other. The Sea is close in all ways, the sound and smell, and ever changing colours. Its like a mirror, reflecting all things above and still giving this mysterious feeling of unending depths. Its a faboulos friend and a wild and unruly enemy. It provides one of my favourite way of travel and I love a nice cool swim on a summers day. The sea inspires my artwork again and again, Beyond the Sea is the translated version of the name Ultra Marine which is the bluest of the blue colours I like to use.
